Topic: Education
Well, I'm still deep in the 'bard.' Whoever said Shakespeare was on crack was crazy. Wait, that was me who said that! I said that a while ago though. I actually understand him now. One more month to go before I successfully complete Major Works of Shakespeare. I hope to also "successfully" complete Biopsychology, popularly known as psychobiology. The material is concrete, definitely true or fals answers; my problem is the concrete is too thick and I can't get through. Plainly? I'm lost. Sadly, I would rather double over into the world of Shakespeare where there is no right or wrong answer. Ironically, I understand the obscurity but don't understand the concrete.

Next month I start more British Lit (my favorite...American writers could learn a thing or two from them) and American Lit courses. The British Lit course is 17th and 18th century literature. I'm toying with the idea of taking another drama course. In fact, I think I have made up my mind to take it.

I'm a senior. Just two semesters left and then I'm done! At least with this phase. I'll be 30 by then (aaagggghhhh) and will start my Master's degree after a little break. I have direction now. With 4 1/2 years of editing work experience, a little freelance writing for a start-up online news site, and a B.A. in English (literature) under my belt, I am sure I could find a nice career somewhere in the journalism field. But no, I have my heart set on working in a library. Yes, I will get my MLS (Master degree in Library Science). Bet you didn't think librarianism could be a science. Apparently there's a special art to it. I could double up, take a few extra courses in history, and have a dual Master degree that would allow me to specialize in historical library-ing.

I'll let you chew on that note for a bit. There's a whole world out there I didn't know existed. Bet you didn't either...
